Smooth Paint Finish with A Roller

To paint with a roller, first, place the paint tray liner inside the paint tray. Next, put paint approximately 4 ounces inside the tray. Finally, mildly pat the roller in the paint with your index finger. Rolling the paint upward and downward ensures that the paint is evenly distributed on the rolling pad.

Put the roller on the wood and then spread the paint on the wood’s surface, starting with gentle pressure and gradually increasing the pressure as needed. Foam rollers of high density can trap most of the paint from the roller pad, and you may need to gradually increase the pressure on the roller to get the paint to come loose.
